Just as I was getting into a consistent flow of outputting content, the content world came to a stand still to focus on the injustice in America and around the world towards the Black community. I may have seemed silent if you don’t watch my stories or follow my company Common Ambition. It has been a lot to take in and to figure out how I can do my part to help make change in the right direction.

I signed countless petitions, made donations, and even attended protests, but felt like that just wasn’t enough. I wanted to do something where I could include others and have the movement continue even when I physically couldn’t myself. So, I created merchandise via Common Ambition after careful consideration and conversations with multiple friends of mine on how to go about it in the right way. The goal from the beginning was always to donate the proceeds from the sales. Thankfully that was understood by everyone and my plan to help was received with open arms. My company created designs for a face mask, a t-shirt and a hat. Each person has the choice of where they want their proceeds to be sent. It has been a very trying year to say the least and an even more draining month, every day there is something that surfaces and the fight continues. My days have all just been mashed together. I feel we simultaneously do have to keep moving forward in our lives which is why for my own sanity, I am choosing to resume working and outputting quality content. This does not mean that I will stop being an ally, I will continue to share resources that keep pushing change in addition to my regular content.
