Get The Instagram Music Feature Back
Has your music sticker on Instagram disappeared? If so, you’re not alone; I had the same issue for nearly 2 years lol, yes TWO YEARS! I had the feature, I went home to Canada and at that time the feature wasn’t available in Canada, so they took it away from me. When I got back to the States, the feature appeared. Until my next trip back home, this time it was gone forever… I tried many different troubleshooting options and nothing worked. Eventually I just gave up, but then Reels came out and I was infuriated that I couldn’t add music to my Reels. I was on a mission this time, determined to get the feature.
Here’s what I did:
Open Instagram
Go to Settings —> Account —> Switch to Creator Account
Wait 3 days then the music sticker feature will appear back in your stories
You can switch back to a Business Account after, but at your own risk. When I switched back, about a day later the feature was gone again. So, I switched back to a Creator Account and 3 days later the feature was back. Since then, I have been too afraid to switch, so I have kept my account as a Creator Account.
