We made it… to December 2020. Welcome to 12 Days of Apps. I’m also doing a Giveaway!

Day 1 goes to Moleskine Journey because it’s how I stay organized. This is by far the best planner style app that I have ever used. It’s more than just a planner, Journey is packed with features that allow you to organize tasks by project and color coordinate, help you create better habits for yourself, and even lets you journal and keep a photo album. I have tried close to 20 apps before deciding Journey was the one. It lacks one key feature, being able to hand write, but all of the other apps that allowed the feature lacked many features Journey has, so I was okay with settling.

Key Features:

  • $19.99/yr. (free trial available)

  • Works across iPhone, iPad, Desktop and web

  • Can pull events from Calendar app

  • Daily goal setting/to do list

  • Planner

  • Organize by project and color coordinate

Below you will find some screenshots highlighting some of the features I use regularly.

When you are writing in a task, this is where you can color coordinating to keep the task consistent with the project, along with adding deadlines.

Each task in the project is in uniform with color coordinating and as you finish tasks you can check them off.

These are examples of some habits you can create and you can customize them to change the names.
