It’s the holidays and you’re most likely trying to finish up your Christmas shopping. So, I wanted to share my favorite small businesses. Below is a list of brands/businesses that are totally worth checking out and supporting. I have to be honest, some of them are my clients, but not all. Even though they are my clients, doesn’t mean my suggestion is biased. There is no order to this list, so I am putting it in alphabetical order and I have written a quick blurb to introduce you to the brand.

The Gallery About Nothing | Baltimore, MD

Have someone on your list that has everything, experiences are the best type of gifts for them. The Gallery About Nothing (TGAN) is a one of a kind sip & paint experience. A lot of people are intimidated by the fact that they have to draw and then paint a canvas. TGAN removes that stress by having pre-drawn canvas’ waiting upon your arrival. Each canvas is different, but they always fall under the theme of the night. They can even travel to you for private events and they do many pop-ups in Atlanta, GA. They have options for all age groups and occasions. Have an idea, for a theme, they’re always willing to listen and make it a reality for you.

If you’re in Baltimore or Atlanta, you can pre-purchase tickets to their events and you’re totally welcome to gift them as well. If you’re not in those cities, you can always setup a private event at a location of your choosing.

Glamorous Drinks | Houston, TX & Los Angeles, CA

Starting out as a mobile bar service, setting the standard in Los Angeles; Glamorous Drinks has grown into the beverage industry with their very own line of signature pre-made cocktails. Ready to order for you to enjoy this holiday season. I have tried all of the flavors and “Peach Don’t Kill My Vibe” is my absolute favorite! They come in three different sizes, the mini’s make for perfect stocking stuffers.

If you live in Los Angeles and are in the entertainment industry mix, I am willing to bet you have attended at least one event where Glamorous Drinks was providing the bar service.

Kashi Vintage | Toronto, Canada

Upscaling you never knew you needed. Kashi Vintage repurposes authentic designer hardware into fresh new jewelry pieces and accessories. Options range from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, to broaches. From brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Dior, Celiné etc. I personally have a Chanel necklace. Kashi Vintage is the perfect gift for your accessorizing friend or family member. Their packaging is also super cute!

LOFTWOOD | Inglewood, CA

One of a kind, handmade travel bags and accessories. Loftwood creates travel bags with unique custom fabrics. Each and every bag is truly one of a kind. The quality of these bags is topnotch. I personally have a Grinch tote. Loftwood bags make for the perfect travel companion and you always know which bag is yours because chances are, no one else will have that exact fabric pattern you have. A lot of their bags are geared towards children with the character designs or your inner child, but rumor has it, they are going to have a collection targeted towards adults with solid colors.

In addition to travel bags, they also make reading pillows, book covers, diaper bags etc. The reading pillow is so comfy!

Redstone Firearms | Burbank, CA

Know someone thinking about learning how to use a firearm or get their first firearm, Redstone Firearms is the best place to get started. They will teach you from ground zero, their motto is “Consult, Educate, and Train”. That is exactly what they do. When I walked in there for the first time in 2020, I had never even touched a firearm. They don’t make you feel “dumb”, laugh at you or roll their eyes when you ask what are obvious questions to them. Now you might catch them heckling among themselves or with their regulars, but you will never feel uncomfortable in their storefront.

They offer an array of services, from beginners range days, conceal carry weapon (CCW) classes for multiple states, private transfers, and so much more. Give the gift of firearm education, they even have merch and gift cards.

SKINGLASS BEAUTY | Atlanta, GA

The glow you have been chasing you’re entire life, at least I have been. Founder, Noor has formulated so many amazing products. I have been using her products since ~2018 when she had just her signature product in liquid and powered form. After just one application, I was hooked. I am a sucker for a dewy makeup look and SKINGLASS delivers exactly this, but in such a subtle and beautiful way, you don’t appear wet, you literally look like you’re glowing. Majority of the days I will literally just wear SKINGLASS, blush and some mascara and be out the door. Noor has since created many other products and is continuously adding new products that you can checkout on her website. So far, I have tried the highlighting oils (SKINGLASS), blushes (all 6 of them), the mist, moisturizer, powder highlight, and liptone.

Hand selected styles by founder Courtney, TRUE BY COURTNEY has a little something for everyone. If you’re looking for something comfy, dressy, casual, upscale, Courtney has it. I have the dress shown below and every time I wear it, I get compliments on it. I can’t wait to get more items from her, her styles are super cute and give you that effortless style. However, I’m always slow to the releases and my sizes end up being sold out. She is a one woman show, models all of her pieces, picks, packs, ships, markets, runs her social media and everything else in-between.
