10 Things To Do For Your Brand To Prepare For 2024

That week between Christmas and the New Year always feels like the longest week of our lives. Boredom strikes, we run out of episodes of our favorite show to watch, you’ve finished your holiday movie list, now you are left twiddling your thumbs. Well this year can be a little different, you can use some of that down time to be productive. Now, I know we use the end of the year to relax and recharge and I am all for it. However, I know that I can’t be the only one that feels so unproductive and bored that I could poke needles in my eyes. That is why I have created a list of things that you can do for your brand during that downtime. None of it requires heavy lifting, it’s just some things that will put you ahead for January while helping you feel productive for those moments of gloom. There is no order to the list below, do whatever applies to you. Happy Holidays! 🎄

  1. Update the copyright year in your website footer.

  2. Edit your terms of use/privacy policy if they include dates.

  3. Update the year and address on your agreements and invoices

  4. Make changes for improvement of your agreements, based on issues you may have run into in 2023. For example, I had to make an adjustment to put a time limit on projects before the remaining balance is due because I kept running into issues of projects taking so long to complete that invoices were left outstanding for months on end and it was no fault of mine.

  5. Look up new platforms to streamline your work flow better. For example, a better invoicing system, new editing programs to implement etc.

  6. Update your opt-in offer or just refresh the look of it.

  7. Outline a social strategy, content you want to create, aesthetic you want, content pillars etc.

  8. Schedule emails that need to go out in the New Year.

  9. Write down goals for your brand for 2024.

  10. Revise your bios and profile photos.
